Job Description
MW Partners is currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Ruby.
- Design and optimize GraphQL and RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
- Collaborate with product managers technical leads and other engineers to understand business and customer objectives
- Participate in technical discussions root cause analysis and performance tuning.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins Git and Docker.
- Maintain and enhance legacy Ruby codebases while migrating them to modern Java services.
- Ensure application reliability through monitoring tools like New Relic Splunk or Grafana.
- Deploy and manage services on AWS leveraging Lambda RDS and API Gateway.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Ruby.
- Experience with GraphQL schema design and query optimization 4.
- Solid understanding of SQL (e.g. Postgres) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Familiarity with APM tools and monitoring frameworks.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
