Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technician
Specialty: MRI Support (Level 2 Safety Trained)
Place of work (City/State): San Diego California
Location: 3350 La Jolla Village Dr. San Diego CA 92161
Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of a 4 year extension
Shift Schedule: Monday Sunday between 12:00 AM 12:00 AM (24/7 coverage)
On-Call service
License / Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- MRI Level 2 Safety Training (must be completed within past year)
Minimum Qualification/Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time current work experience within the past 3 years
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
Support patient care in MRI section of Radiology
Coordinate with patients physicians technologists and other medical staff
Prepare radiographic suites and assure availability of supplies and contrast materials
Assist in administering contrast under close radiologist supervision
Perform clerical duties such as image archiving and post-processing
Maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction
