Summary:
-
Perform required periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
-
Consistently complete assigned tasks within quoted or standard CMP time.
-
Provide work direction for assigned technicians; promote high-quality standards through instruction and example.
-
Act on behalf of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) in their absence assuming duties and responsibilities as assigned.
-
Coordinate with the Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection/documentation requirements.
-
Complete work order sign-offs shift turnovers and paperwork accurately and on time.
-
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
-
Properly identify (tag) store and secure customer property and equipment including aircraft components.
-
Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment (e.g. power supply hydraulic rigs nitrogen carts oxygen service carts).
-
Operate and oversee special support equipment used in major component removal/installation.
-
Coordinate aircraft movement as required.
-
Assist in training new employees in the use of CMP maintenance manuals SRMs IPCs flight test installations and maintenance of major components.
-
Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair of customer property as needed.
-
Use the material tracking system to create parts demands and charge labor to correct work orders/item numbers.
-
Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean safe and organized shops hangars and work areas. Properly collect and dispose of waste (fuel oil hydraulic fluids de-icing fluids solvent rags).

Apply Lean/continuous improvement processes to all areas of responsibility.
-
Properly use care for and return company-provided tools and equipment.
-
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing which may include flight tests.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 3 years on mid/large-size aircraft
-
Corporate aircraft experience preferred
-
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required
-
Valid Drivers License required
-
Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for multiple aircraft models and systems within each product line.
-
Advanced knowledge of technical reference materials including maintenance manuals IPCs service bulletins structural repair manuals engineering drawings and ADS.
-
Working knowledge of FAA regulations process specifications Repair Station and Quality Control manuals and company policies/procedures.
-
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
