Job Summary

Were looking for a Director Origination ( Speciality Finance) join us in London

Liberty Blume Speciality Finance (LBSF) offers a varied product range; from core products including Supply Chain Finance and Securitisation to products in development/close to release incl. but not limited to inventory finance portfolio receivables financing prepayment / trade advance leasing asset as a service. LBSF generally targets sub-investment grade rated companies (although its solutions are also applicable to investment grade organisations) to provide the aforementioned solutions.

Today its client base is mostly focused around telecoms however LBSF is making inroads with adjacent order to drive business growth LBSF seeks an individual with proven origination capabilities and pre-existing relationships to source/identify appropriate opportunities participate in execution of deals and oversee these client relationships.

Originate discussions and drive forward partnership development by making contact with relevant players in the industry from (a) your personal network; (b) companies known to LBSF and Liberty Global; (c) reverse inquiries
Act as key point of contact for these organisations representing LBSF with aim to drive forward growth agenda
Provide meaningful insight into potential client requirements and desired solutions (and driving the development of any new product solutions if applicable)
Pitch solutions to clients and navigate specific requirements or requests to be able to provide a tailored product that would suit their needs
Oversee the sales process from management of initial meetings to supporting structuring conversations and the closure of transactions
Provision of market intelligence as it relates to (a) working capital financing solutions; (b) companies that may be suitable for working capital financing solutions (whether they are actively seeking solutions or not); (c) structural or strategic changes at working capital solution providers resulting in the potential availability or acquisition of clients or a client portfolio

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience in Structured Finance Corporate Finance Transactional Banking
Relevant experience in working capital financing related sales
Existing client portfolio required (incl. a number of potentially suitable target clients)
Knowledge of working capital market intelligence required
Prior experience with inventory financing would be a plus

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience in communication with potential clients (internal/external) and partners
Ability to evaluate client needs and source relevant opportunities
Facilitate introductions and oversee discussions from initial meetings through to the sales process and deal closure
