Seeking a Datawarehouse/ETL Consultant
Jobs Specifics
Looking for a senior resource for Trulymadly Data Warehouse team for a consultant professional with expert level knowledge in SQL ETL data warehousing methodologies and best practices. The successful candidate must have at least 6 years of extensive experience in working with large scale data warehouses. The candidate must be technically strong with excellent analytical and problem solving skills highly motivated quick learner with strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will be involved in all phases of SDLC and will be expected to work on design architecture and implementation of our data warehouse environment participate in code and technology reviews and work closely with other members of the team and the business. The candidate will be exposed to the variety of data domains and have enormous opportunities to learn and contribute ideas.
Some of the goals are:
Build new state of the art data mart fully automated NRT ETL reporting and analytics;
Enhance the data warehouse infrastructure to support current systems;
Develop fully automated DR and failover;
Create tidal jobs to support needed tasks;
Support integration with various upstream systems and reporting.
All of the above work will be done using MS SQL Server Greenplum MPP Hadoop variety of scripts/languages (python ksh PL/pgSQL C#) and Tidal Scheduler.
Qualifications:
BE/ Degree in Computer Science Engineering from a tier 1 college.
5 years of experience developing SQL stored procedures performing optimization and query tuning and designing databases.
Solid understanding of data warehousing methodologies various stages of ETL and data modeling.
Experience working with MPP systems Hadoop stack
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
Team Player with Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with BI tools like Cognos/Tableau/QlikView
