About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate General Practitioner to join our team in Mildura providing care to a welcoming rural community with a strong focus on aged care residents. This is an opportunity to practise relationship-based medicine making a visible and lasting difference in the lives of those who need your care most.
You will be well supported by a dedicated full-time nurse geriatrician and experienced administrative team so you can focus on delivering quality consultations and reviews each day.
What we offer
- Attractive Daily Rate: Earn up to $2300 per day for an 8-hour workday.
- Support You Can Rely On: We believe great care comes from great teamwork - with nurses telehealth geriatricians physicians and admin staff collaborating alongside you to deliver the best outcomes for patients.
- Manageable Caseload: See approximately 25 patients per day with the focus firmly on quality of care.
- Flexibility: Part-time role 2 days per week with the option to increase as the service grows.
- Professional Growth: Ideal for GPs with an interest in aged care or rural health offering long-term development opportunities within our expanding organisation.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration (General or Specialist) with no conditions. Please note: overseas applicants are not eligible for this role.
- Availability of 12 weekdays per week to begin with with the opportunity to increase as the region continues to grow.
- Comfortable with technology including system-based reporting and common clinical software packages.
- A personal laptop is is required to perform the duties of this role.
