Location: Perth Metro & Various FIFO Sites (WA)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Casual / Contract (Flexible options available)
Roster: Metro: Monday - Friday FIFO: Various rosters available (e.g. 2:1 8:6 2:2)
Salary: Competitive hourly rates super penalties site allowances
Start Date: Immediate starts available

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced HD (Heavy-Duty) and LV (Light Vehicle) Mechanics to join our growing team. Positions are available for both Perth-based metro work and FIFO roles to mine sites across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy and light vehicles
Inspect and service diesel engines hydraulics transmissions braking systems and other components
Conduct fault finding using diagnostic tools and systems
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site standards
Complete service reports job cards and maintenance records accurately
Work autonomously or as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to continuous safety improvements

Requirements

For HD Mechanics:

Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
Experience with mining equipment such as CAT Komatsu Hitachi Volvo etc.
Valid HR (or higher) drivers licence preferred
Previous FIFO or remote site experience (highly regarded)

For LV Mechanics:

Australian-recognised Light Vehicle Mechanical Trade Certificate
Experience working on 4WDs utes and light trucks
Ability to upskill or transition to HD roles (training opportunities may be available)

General:

Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Valid drivers licence (manual preferred)
