Location: Perth Metro & Various FIFO Sites (WA)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Casual / Contract (Flexible options available)
Roster: Metro: Monday - Friday FIFO: Various rosters available (e.g. 2:1 8:6 2:2)
Salary: Competitive hourly rates super penalties site allowances
Start Date: Immediate starts available
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced HD (Heavy-Duty) and LV (Light Vehicle) Mechanics to join our growing team. Positions are available for both Perth-based metro work and FIFO roles to mine sites across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy and light vehicles
- Inspect and service diesel engines hydraulics transmissions braking systems and other components
- Conduct fault finding using diagnostic tools and systems
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site standards
- Complete service reports job cards and maintenance records accurately
- Work autonomously or as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
- Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to continuous safety improvements
Requirements
For HD Mechanics:
- Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Experience with mining equipment such as CAT Komatsu Hitachi Volvo etc.
- Valid HR (or higher) drivers licence preferred
- Previous FIFO or remote site experience (highly regarded)
For LV Mechanics:
- Australian-recognised Light Vehicle Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Experience working on 4WDs utes and light trucks
- Ability to upskill or transition to HD roles (training opportunities may be available)
General:
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid drivers licence (manual preferred)
