Position: Senior Product Definition Engineer
Job Location: Orlando FL (onsite)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Product Definition Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and drafting. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of experience and demonstrate proficiency in commercial CAD software particularly NX. You will play a critical role in designing mechanical components contributing to the development of advanced engineering solutions and ensuring high-quality deliverables for our clients. Ideally you have prior experience with turbo machinery such as gas turbines and steam turbines.

You will play a critical role in designing mechanical components contributing to the development of advanced engineering solutions and ensuring high-quality deliverables for our clients. Ideally you have prior experience with turbo machinery such as gas turbines and steam turbines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and draft standard mechanical components with minimal supervision.
- Participate in project review meetings offering valuable insights and contributing to project milestones.
- Collaborate with other discipline leads to ensure seamless integration of designs and engineering solutions.
- Utilize NX (V-10 and above) for modeling and drafting ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Apply knowledge of standard manufacturing processes fit and tolerances to ensure designs meet functional and quality requirements.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Preferably bring experience in turbo machinery including gas and steam turbines to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (BE/.) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college/university.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting.
- Proficiency in NX (V-10 and above preferred) and experience with PLM and Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of standard manufacturing processes fit and tolerances.
- Experience with turbo machinery such as gas turbines and steam turbines is a plus.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing project requirements.
- Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal.
Compensation: $90000.00 - $100000.00 per year
