JOB SUMMARY:
EBS is currently seeking an enrollment specialist to join our Client Care team. The specialist will assist in helping EBS meet and exceed client expectations by supporting new and existing business. The specialist will be responsible for assisting the team with enrollments changes and terminations in various portals as well as performing audits to ensure quality control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General:
Manage internal and external resources in a manner necessary to meet project deadlines and to resolve issues that arise
Work cohesively with other team members in an effort to achieve a successful and positive client experience
Communicate with clients and team in a pleasant professional manner
Proactively identify ways to improve processing efficiency
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Processes complex enrollments terms and changes
o Oversee basic enrollments terms and changes sent to the Patra team
o Takeover Spreadsheets
o Navigate multiple carrier portals
Collect analyze and audit data from various sources
o Work with Patra team to audit enrollments and terminations (pre and post renewal)
o Work with the HRIS Specialist to audit employee-facing benefits enrollment platforms
Monitor HRIS Mailbox
o Identify enrollment changes to send to Patra or process manually
o Maintain organization within the mailbox and file emails accordingly
Manage HRIS Systems
o Keep Maxwell dashboard up to date
o Monitor Employee Navigator dashboard for action items
Work Exception Reports
o Responding to inquiries from the Patra team on a daily basis
o Assist with technical issues

CONTINUING EDUCATION
As a condition of employment the Enrollment Specialist must:
Pass the Maryland State Life & Health exam within the first 90 days of employment.
Fulfill Maryland State Continuing Education (CE) requirements annually.
Participate in internal training sessions and other professional development opportunities as needed.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
College degree preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/MISCELLANEOUS
Valid Drivers License.
