This position will manage oversee the strategic and operational management of our hospitals in NSW and ACT. This pivotal role involves ensuring the efficient operation of all physical aspects of our facilities creating and maintaining safe functional and productive environments for all occupants. The role will also lead the planning budgeting and execution of infrastructure projects including refurbishments fit outs and facility upgrades.
You will collaborate across departments to ensure our facilities meet operational needs while aligning with long-term strategic development plans. This person will consult with various internal and external stakeholders including auditors and statutory authorities to ensure Healthscope meets our compliance obligations.
You will be part of a small collaborative supportive and solutions-driven team. We value open communication proactive thinking and a hands-on approach to challenges. Experience for Success
Proven experience in facilities management preferably within the private healthcare sector or large-scale organisations.
Strong understanding of building systems maintenance practices and safety regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant qualifications in facilities management property or a related field.
Effective communicator at all levels.
