Echocardiography Technologist- Travel Position
Location: Denver CO
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s
Pay: $2327/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound studies that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. The Echo Tech will operate echocardiography equipment capture accurate images and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented knowledgeable in cardiac imaging and dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiograms including transthoracic transesophageal and stress echocardiography as ordered.
Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Operate echocardiography equipment to obtain accurate and high-quality cardiac images.
Collaborate with cardiologists to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to quality assurance and safety protocols.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Echocardiography or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
Certification through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification COVID vaccine recent TB test
Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience
Adult Echocardiograms (portable for inpatients and outpatients)
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Bubble studies and Definity contrast studies
Structured reporting on all procedures performed
