Job Description
Sunrise Futures is looking to hire a talented Junior Infrastructure System Engineer to join our technology team.
The Role:
- Providing technical expertise to support and troubleshoot our production environment in real time
- Working collaboratively with the technology and business teams on our trading and research platforms
- Analyzing complex technical issues and creating solutions proactively
- Designing and implementing high quality software solutions used for algorithmic trading exchange connectivity and research
The Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field
- Problem solvers who are driven self-motivated and outside of the box thinkers
- Strong programming skills and good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Ability to work afternoon shift hours approximately 10am-8pm Central Time
- Linux user experience
- Desire and interest to develop a career in the financial industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated dependable and responsible team players
*Candidates who are able to start in March are highly preferred*
