SONA powered by Celero is looking for a driven and customer-focused Direct Sales Representative (Account Executive) to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the entire sales cyclefrom lead generation to close while delivering exceptional customer service.

What youll be doing:
- Identify qualify pursue and close new sales opportunities both cold and referral-based using our proven 3-Touch Process along with phone and email follow-ups.
- Use active listening and problem-solving skills to assist customer inquiries and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Learn and master the technical details of our payment processing solutions to confidently educate and sell to prospective clients.
- Manage your sales pipeline and track activity through our CRM system.
- Meet and exceed KPIs including closing ratios and conversion targets for inbound and referred leads.
- Follow and maintain established office procedures and ensure documentation such as proposals and applications is properly completed and filed.
Occasionally you may also:
- Conduct competitive analysis for prospective clients as requested by leadership.
- Travel locally using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed) for client meetings.
- Attend training sessions and networking events as needed to support your professional development.
What Youll Bring:
- Proven ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building
- Comfortable with tele-sales virtual presentations and CRM usage
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative accountability and adaptability
- Sales experience in payment processing accounting or finance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adhere to SONAs proprietary sales process
Compensation: starting at $43000 CAD
Location: Halifax NS
Hours: Onsite M-F 9am-5pm
