Indian River State College is seeking a dedicated individual for our Farmworker Jobs and Education Program supporting our mission to provide meaningful opportunities for individuals and families. JOB SUMMARY:
Under general guidelines this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Farmworker Jobs and Education Program. Key responsibilities include working closely with the Dean of the Northwest Center and administrative staff from the Children and Families and Department of Labor programs. The role also involves coordinating efforts with public and private agencies to effectively carry out the mission of the Farmworker Jobs and Education Program.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires an ability to sit stand walk bend lift reach up stoop and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. Physical skills required include the ability to lift heavy boxes and materials to move equipment from room to room and to work for extended periods at a computer station. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as copier fax telephone and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
