Were growing our enterprise consumer base and need capable and creative engineers to advance our initiatives in large scale data processing. Youll have the opportunity to work across a variety of technology domains and own projects from design to deployment.
As our engineering department continues to expand were looking for people that are excited to mentor and collaborate with more junior engineers. You will own projects and be responsible for elevating the teams technical skills which will require you to able to communicate effectively and blend multiple business needs in your work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a mentor to our growing engineering department.
- Develop full stack software for a wide variety of platforms and technologies.
- Engage in the research evaluation and application of new technologies and methodologies to solve challenging problems.
- Take part in the entire project life cycle from requirements development to deployment.
- Work hard and be flexible: we have quick development cycles evolving requirements and lots of cross-team collaboration.
- Exercise good judgment. Know when to work quickly and when to build a robust solution. Your work will be used by multiple business units so you will need to consider many use cases when developing.
- Bring your ideas! We want our engineers to collaborate on product development not blindly build to a spec.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors in Computer Science Computer Engineering a related field or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of professional software development experience
- English proficiency. Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience leading and/or mentoring other engineers
- Expert object-oriented programming skills; C# a plus
- Significant database design and development experience
- Familiarity with micro-services and architecture design
- Knowledge of networking concepts principles and technologies
- Experience working with hardware and device development is a major plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with high-availability high-throughput services
- Experience with external facing APIs and/or third-party platform integrations
- Familiarity with distributed event streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Experience with JavaScript development using an established JS framework such as Ember
