Alegeus Technologies develops and supports a complicated benefits software package utilizing real time payment network transaction systems.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior developer with a strong background in building scalable high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise systems.

Major Responsibilities:

Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005 server side development including SSIS
T-SQL (Transact SQL) Stored Procedures and Triggers
The ideal candidate should possess some database administrative experience
The ideal candidate should possess some experience working with Access applications and strong Excel skills
Build new systems 4.0/C#/ SQL Server 2008/WCF Web Services
Develop new functionality on our existing software products.
Participate in an experienced energetic team and contribute on a defined development schedule.
All other responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

Six () years experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).
Three () years experience with .
Two () years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred).
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
Deep knowledge of 3.5/4.0 Framework including Visual Studio 2008/2010 WCF Services and .
Mobile development Business Intelligence (BI) projects exposure preferred.
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI Business Logic Layer Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Ability to design develop and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.
Experience with jQuery or similar technologies.
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
Candidate should be a self-motivated independent detail oriented responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
Domain knowledge on payment processing financial services systems health insurance healthcare IT systems consumer driven healthcare or employee benefits processing would be preferred.
