SC Cleared Platform Engineer

Initial 6-month Contract Role

550 - 600 Inside IR35

ECS Resource group are currently working with a Worlds Leading Technology Organisation who are looking for a Platform Engineer where you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining software infrastructure.

As a Platform Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Contribute across the platform lifecycle from requirements to development testing and documentation.
  • Maintain and improve core development tools infrastructure and automation systems.
  • Support teams with tooling workflows and best practices.
  • Use cloud microservices and DevOps to build a scalable reliable platform.
  • Troubleshoot issues to ensure system performance and stability.

Collaborate with a cross-functional team bringing adaptability and a learning mindset.

Please note the below requirements are essential and candidates without this will not be considered:

  • Active SC Clearance (essential)
  • Proven experience working as a Platform Engineer/SRE
  • Proven experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python JavaScript etc.
  • Proven experience with Cloud platforms containers microservices DevOps and IaC
  • Proven experience with Automation monitoring and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
