AstheSupplierQualityEngineeryouwillspearheadSupplierQualityfortheCompanyasawholeensuringtopqualityanddeliverystandardsareachievedyearoveryear.

Your AccountabilitiesintheRole:

UnderstandstheAutomotiveAdvancedPlanningQualityProcess(APQP)toleadtheauditingofneworexistingsupplierstoensuretheirQualitySystemprocessesandproductspecificationsarealignedtotheCom-panysstandards.

Overseesanyqualityor deliveryissue withsupplierssettingupactionplansandvalidationprogramstobringobstaclestoresolution.

Reportssupplierratingsandrelatedcorrectiveactions(whereapplicable)totheleadershipgroupmonthlyandquarterlytounderstandtheQualitystatusofsuppliersaswellaspreferredsuppliersforpurchasing.

Workswithcross-functionalteamstounderstandmaterialneedsandcoordinatesthoseneedswithsupplierstoensurethespecificationsofthematerialsareunderstoodandproductisreceivedwithincompliance.

Reviewsmaterialtestdataon productstandardstovalidateandensurematerialsareinlinewith companyQualitySystemstandards.

Position Requirements:

Education:AnAssociatesDegreeinIndustrialManufacturingTechnicalorrelatedfieldpreferred;wouldconsideracombinationofcourseworkandexperience.
Experience:2yearsofexperienceinaManufacturingandQualityInspectionpositionrequired;.
Certification(s):ASQCertifiedQualityAuditororequivalentcertificationpreferred;.
FunctionalSkills:Strongmathalgebraandstatisticalskillsrequired;strong .
TechnologyAptitude/Skills:SolidMicrosoftOfficeSkillset;abilitytolearnandusein-houseERPandsoft-waresystems.
LanguageSkills:Solidverbalandwrittencommunicationskills;willpresenttoothers.
