Production Scheduler (Manufacturing Industry exp req) Description
Our client a global manufacturer of wax and polymer additives is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team in Picayune this cross-functional role youll manage daily and long-range production scheduling coordinate materials support inventory tracking and supervise one QC technician. Youll also play a supporting role in quality control and lead communication across departments to keep production on track and materials flowing. To succeed in this role you must have 3 years of scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing setting and be confident working with ERP systems. Ideal candidates will be organized adaptable and detail-oriented. Production Scheduler (Manufacturing Industry exp req) Responsibilities
Review and update production schedules daily based on orders
Coordinate raw material ordering and delivery timelines
Generate and issue work instructions and work orders
Track incoming and outgoing inventory across multiple locations
Lead monthly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain purchase orders and general ledger entries
Monitor material substitutions and cost impacts
Supervise daily activities of a QC technician
Manage training schedules and compliance documentation
Participate in planning meetings and issue resolution
