Job Summary
The Content Creator & Snow Reporter will be one of the primary snow reporters responsible for the execution of the daily snow report including snow condition photography/videography and will oversee gathering content including photos and video assets creating and executing a content calendar with direction from the Marketing Manager and staying on top of current trends. This position is responsible for the creation and design of marketing materials property signage photography videography - providing designs that fall within brand guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Photography / Videography: Primary content collector for Homewood Mountain Resort. Oversee resort photography and videography projects obtaining media needed to promote marketing initiatives including; on-mountain activities snow conditions food and cocktail photography retail and outdoor activities and events.
Snow Reporting: (Winter Season Only) One of two main snow reporters responsible for the execution of daily snow reporting duties. Will be required to arrive at the resort by 5:30am up to 5 days a week during the winter season. Weekend work required.
File Archive: Responsible for keeping newly added photo video and other media assets organized.
Social Media: Works with Marketing Manager to draft content on social media channels including but not limited to: Facebook Instagram and Twitter. Responsible for gathering photo and video assets and posting with on-brand messaging across all channels.
Website / eBlasts: Assists marketing team with the creation of website and email content by providing images designs and other creative materials.
Graphic Design: Assist with designing assets for web digital advertising print materials and property signage.

Skills and Qualifications

Must have an understanding of photography/videography equipment and the ability to edit and produce photo and videos for sharing online and through social media.
Must be familiar with all major design programs including Illustrator Photoshop InDesign Lightroom and Premiere.
Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Have excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and courtesy.
Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
Able to work weekends holidays and early-morning hours when needed.
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing and allocating resources efficiently to meet deadlines. Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments daily.
Enjoys working in a team environment.
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
A love of skiing and/or snowboarding and the people who make these mountains special a plus.
Intermediate or advanced skiing or snowboarding ability preferred.
21 years of age or older.
Preferred:
Experience with eBlast systems WordPress and HTML is a plus.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in graphic design photography videography or related field and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Intermediate or advanced skiing or snowboarding ability required.
Regularly required to stand sit and walk; talk and hear; taste and smell; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
Often required to use the computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distant vision color and peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to lift/move 10 lbs. or more and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
