What Will You Do Ka aha koe
- Lead and develop Bullers Three Waters operations team fostering a high-performing positive and safety-focused environment.
- Oversee daily operation maintenance and emergency response for water supply wastewater and stormwater services ensuring compliance and effective asset management.
- Manage contractor and supplier performance building productive relationships with internal and external partners iwi and other key stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice and technical support for three waters activities projects and planning contributing to asset renewal budgets and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in systems service delivery and staff development to ensure future-readiness and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all staff and contractors adhere to Health and Safety legislation and Council requirements.
- Support Councils emergency management responsibilities including after-hours incident response.
Who Are You Ko wai koe
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering infrastructure water management or similar with at least five years of experience in Three Waters operations or a related field.
- Proven team leadership and people management experience in a multi-disciplinary or operational environment.
- Sound knowledge of contract and project management planning and regulatory compliance in water wastewater or stormwater services.
- Experience managing budgets assets risks and technical documentation.
- Able to build positive relationships and communicate clearly with staff contractors iwi and community.
- IT literate (MS Office asset/project management systems) adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
- Holds a full New Zealand drivers licence; Local Government and SCADA/industry systems experience is a plus.
