Location/Division Specific Information
- This position is part of our dynamic Statistical Science team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- The role is on-site offering a12-week internship with 40 hours per week.

- Join us in our mission to drive groundbreaking discoveries in clinical trials. As a Statistical Science Intern you will play a pivotal role in analyzing clinical trial data and developing novel analytical tools.
A day in the Life:
- Perform statistical programming and analyses using R and SAS.
- Develop and maintain R Shiny applications for data visualization.
- Collaborate with AI/ML experts to integrate biostatistical workflows.
Keys to Success:
- To excel in this role you should be highly motivated meticulous and possess outstanding analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are crucial as is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Biostatistics Statistics Data Science or a related field.
- Experience
- Strong proficiency in R and SAS.
- Experience developing R applications using Shiny.
- Familiarity with clinical trial data analysis.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Solid understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques is a plus.
