Job Summary

Certified Surgical Technologist-Contract Role

Location: Burlington MA 01805

Duration: 13-Week Contract

Shift: Evening Shift 11 AM - 11 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1872 $2016; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs
Maintain sterile fields and follow strict aseptic techniques
Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and in proper working condition
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
Perform counts of instruments and supplies pre- and post-surgery to avoid retained surgical items
Assist in the turnover and setup of the operating room between cases

Required Experience:

Primary Surgical Experience in:
- Orthopedics (Ortho)
- Neurosurgery (Neuro)
- Transplant
- Cardiac Surgery

Required Certifications:

National Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or equivalent)-Required
Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certification-Required
