Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client a reputable mining company in Gauteng is currently looking for an experienced Internal Control Superintendent to join their mining team.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:NQF Level 7 qualification (Bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma) in a relevant field.
At least 5 years of experience in a related role including a minimum of 2 years at supervisory level or within a functional/specialist role.
Minimum of 4 years experience in SOX compliance.
Registered with SAICA.
Medically fit to work in the designated business area.
Clear security screening record.
Valid drivers license where applicable.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and SAP GRC.
Solid experience in documenting and assessing the design and effectiveness of SOX controls including walkthroughs and control testing.
Practical knowledge of implementing the COSO Internal Control Framework.
Strong understanding and application of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) particularly Sections 302 and 404 in a business context.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Visio) for documentation analysis and reporting.
Ability to identify and evaluate key SOX financial risks and controls.
