Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain high-quality technical/programmatic documentation encompassing user manuals standard operating procedures and system documentation adhering to government standards and regulations.
- Work closely with subject matter experts engineers and project managers to amass information ensuring the accuracy of technical content.
- Conduct meticulous reviews and edits of existing documentation to ensure clarity consistency and adherence to established guidelines.
- Stay abreast of DOE trends updates and advancements to enhance the relevance and accuracy of technical documentation.
- Execute quality checks on documentation to verify compliance with established federal standards and guidelines.
- Bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Communications or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer preferably in a government environment.
- Familiarity with technical concepts software applications and systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Ability to obtain or currently possess an active DOE or DOD Security Clearance.
