About the Role
Were looking for someone whos motivated organised and ready to step into a meaningful role as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
Maybe youve worked in the disability health or community sector. Maybe youve supported people through complex systems. If youre confident working with people juggling priorities and navigating services well support you to build the rest.
In this role youll work closely with NDIS participants to understand their needs and goals connect them with the right services and break down barriers.
What youll do:
- Build strong relationships with participants their families and support providers
- Help people understand and use their NDIS plans
- Coordinate supports and negotiate service options
- Travel locally to meet with participants face-to-face
- Balance your time between meaningful participant work and meeting targets
- Take a big-picture approach to capacity building and problem solving
What Youll Bring
- Experience in disability community services mental health or similar
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Confidence working with digital tools and systems particularly Excel
- The ability to build rapport communicate clearly and support people from all walks of life
- A proactive flexible mindset and the drive to learn
- A business mindset and customer service focus
- An understanding of the NDIS & the ability to understand facets of the NDIS and NDIS Plans/Budgets
- Experience working with targets/KPIs or willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with high-level organisation skills
