The Role
Toproduce allBombay Storymeals and other menu items to the highest standard inline with the recipe and build cards
Maintaining the highest of standards at all times in line with our KitchenSOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Workin an orderly and tidy manner at all times
Following our stock rotation guidelines.
Attenddaily meetings with your team to ensure detailed communications are a regularoccurrence as well as to support the motivation and drive of the whole team.
Continue with your personal development within theBombay Storyteam and partakein training and support sessions when scheduled
Worksafely with all equipment on site and make sure the instructions are followed
Maintain the highest of cleanliness standards for the premises and your ownpersonal hygiene too.
Strictly adhere to our HACCP (Heathy & Safety and Food Hygiene) proceduresand make sure any paperwork you are responsible for is filled in and up to date

Skills& Competences
We upskill and train people with personalities so no previous experience is requiredBUT experience in the personality department is key!
Apassion for the food industry and demonstrate your experience from previouspositions relative to a sous chef position.
Accomplished professional chef preferably with Indian/Tandoor experience
Hands-on experience working with a tandoor oven preparing the various types ofnaan bread including Puri Chapati Bhature and Paratha
A goodunderstanding of IT and POS systems
Excellent communication skills
Qualificationsand Requirements of the position
Finedining - Indian restaurant
English as a first or second language (spoken written and reading)
Well-groomed and presentable
Discretion and Loyalty
Theability to multi task
Excellent timekeeping
Flexible working hours (incl. working on bank holidays)
Anynecessary working permits
