JOB Description
Senior Production Operator Technician
Objective:
Operates machine or equipment performing one or more repetitive assembly duties in manufacturing operations to mass produce parts-in-process or finished product by load. Basic maintenance and repair 5-S training quality control functions packing and recordkeeping will be performed as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Maintenance Certificate and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software or show the competency to acquire the skills through on-the-job training.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to; sit stand use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop kneel and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 60 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision dept perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position may require the use of personal protective equipment.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts fumes or airborne particles. The use of safety glasses with side shields is required at all times. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and may require the use of hearing protection.
