Job Summary
Student Worker - Psychology

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The Psychology is seeking a reliable friendly and organized student worker to assist with front desk operations. As a front desk assistant you will be the point of contact for students faculty and visitors ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the department.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors students and faculty in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle routine clerical tasks such as filing copying scanning and data entry
- Assist with event planning and coordination including preparing materials and setting up rooms
- Pick up and distribute mail and run errands as needed
- Support departmental projects and perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Help with social media
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be a current student preferably enrolled in the Psychology program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous office or customer service experience is a plus but not required
