Sales Representative Job Description

As a Sales Representative you will develop maintain and manage your sales pipeline to develop and grow new and existing client relationships by providing excellent customer service. Drive new account growth via prospecting sourcing and account penetration. Effectively utilize Salesforce for client prospection and pipeline management. Must be able to navigate our TMS in order to manage daily operational tasks such as account management invoicing and tracking shipments. The successful candidate will have great energy and focus a passion for sales and a commitment to the growth and success of the company.

Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services

  • Must have the ability to mediate deals with transportation providers

  • Providing customers with shipping quotes

  • Booking orders with carriers

  • Assisting to prepare carriers for loads

  • Tracking status of loads

  • Collaborating with shippers carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs

Sales Representative Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Legendary customer service skills

  • Work ethic second to none

  • Business-minded with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

  • Industry-related experience preferred but not required
