The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors. Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. Internally we have targeted talent development programs for employees at different stages of their career development to build skills and competencies foster training support people to own career development scale up organization for growth and execution.
How youll make an impact
You will lead engineering training to entire HUB engineering community from collecting needs making plan coordinating execution certificate etc. establish and maintain the engineering training guideline to guide the process in systematic way and work closely with BU/GPG/HUB training team to develop proper trainer pool to support the execution.
You will provide support to global or local trainer to develop proper courses as per local needs and lead the improvement of engineering process as per BU strategy of digital transformation.
You will guide local engineering team to establish and maintain PLM (Product Life Management) platform work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient end-to-end engineering process.
You will introduce or share the best practice between HUBs/Factories in terms of technical training and process improvement.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
Bachelors or masters degree in project management or engineering.
Strong team leadership and teamwork with cross-functional communications and influential skills.

Creative thinking with demonstrated analytical skills and structured work approach. Ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments.
Willingness to travel.
Proficient in English (both speaking and writing).
