About the role

As Health Care Assistant you will be involved in:

• Assist with practicing rehabilitation exercises restorative nursing exercises and daily living skills.
• Patient watch/ supervision and/or movement with one-on-one care
• Restocking and setting up of equipment
• General department housekeeping
• Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
• Clerical duties as required
• Stock reconciliation
• You will need to be able to commit to rotating rostered shifts

Hours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive based on rostered shifts including nights and weekends.

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the HCA Pay Scale between step 1 $60100 and step 5 $70358 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
