Undergraduate Co-op Program Overview-
Power Solutions a Business Unit of MKS Instruments Inc has operations in Rochester NY; Daejeon South Korea and Shenzhen China. This group develops and manufactures products which deliver power for advanced etch and deposition in Semiconductor and Thin Film markets. Key focus and growth areas are enabling reliable technologies for high-aspect-ratio etch and deposition in advanced memory and logic processing. Their products enable fast and accurate profile and uniformity control for state-of-the-art 7nm/5nm processes as well as 3D NAND memory.
We are looking for an exceptional Reliability Engineering Co-op who can provide technician level support to RF product engineers in a design/reliability environment. Incumbent will assist Reliability Engineers in support of existing products and assist in making improvements under the direction of other senior engineers.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week including 11 paid holidays sick time and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
The application period for the intern/co-op position is estimated to be through the end of February 2026; however this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates
