Major Duties :
Daily reporting role covering Capital and Liquidity monitoring across NTGS Guernsey and UK reporting.
Month end statistical reporting to Bank of England statistical reporting for London Branch and NTGS UK Branch
Performs various analyses required to assess the capital and liquidity position of various entities organization.
Researches and resolves reporting issues reconciling source data with balance sheet data to ensure completeness and consistency of reporting.
Involvement in Regulatory projects as required including systems changes upgrades etc.
Involvement in the preparation and investigation of requirements for additional / increased/ amended regulatory reporting as required.
More technically sound in finance/accounting and has broader knowledge of other areas
Knowledge :
Strong planning and organisational skills
Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Ability to assess issues identify solutions and problem solve
Ability to react and respond on a timely basis
Ability to adapt and react positively in a changing and dynamic work environment whilst maintaining a high degree of commitment and focus
Flexible approach towards changing work methods deadlines and variable workloads
Experience :
Finance related background
Strong functional expertise of Microsoft Excel (Power BI Macros) with an ability to proficiently manipulate source data both efficiently and effectively
Good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products and systems
Experience working with the Midas or PeopleSoft an advantage but not essential
Previous working knowledge of regulatory returns an advantage but not essential
