Pre-Sales Senior System Engineer (VIC)

What Youll Do
Technical Solution Design: Work with the sales team to understand customer needs and design tailored technical solutions that meet business objectives.
Pre-Sales Support: Deliver technical presentations product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to prospective clients showcasing the value of SKIDATA solutions.
Client Engagement: Act as a trusted technical advisor building strong relationships with clients and ensuring solutions align with their requirements.
Proposal Development: Prepare solution proposals technical documentation and responses to tenders/RFPs in collaboration with the sales team.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with sales product management and project teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market & Technology Insights: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and market trends contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
In this role youll be at the heart of bridging customer needs with SKIDATAs technical expertise. Youll work in an inspiring collaborative environment where your knowledge and problem-solving skills will help shape successful customer outcomes.
What You Bring
A university degree in Engineering Computer Science IT or a related field
3-5 years of proven experience in a pre-sales system engineering or technical consulting role
Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure software solutions and system integration
Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations and solution proposals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset
Good written and spoken English skills (B1 level or higher); additional languages are a plus
A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced international environment
