Electrodialysis Engineer - Full-time
Location:Austin TX
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with principles of electrochemistry wet chemical electrical membrane separation and water treatment processes.
- Experience with laboratory techniques and equipment for water quality analysis and testing is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Assist in designing and developing electrodialysis systems for water treatment applications such as desalination brackish water purification or wastewater treatment.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate the performance of electrodialysis membranes ion exchange resins and other components.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize electrodialysis processes including flow rates voltage gradients and membrane configurations.
- Assist in data collection analysis and interpretation to identify trends troubleshoot issues and improve system efficiency.
- Support pilot-scale or field-scale testing of electrodialysis systems including installation operation and monitoring.
- Assist in preparing technical reports presentations and documentation to communicate research findings and project updates.
- Perform other engineering tasks and support the electrodialysis engineering team as needed.
