Job Summary

Recruitment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established firm of Solicitors based in Maldon. Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive Locum to support their busy team.

The Role
This role will focus on Probate Estate Administration and Inheritance Tax matters. You will be expected to manage your own workload effectively while contributing to the wider team. The position is available on a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days) basis. Hybrid working may be considered although the role is not suitable for remote-only work.

Key Responsibilities
Advising and managing a caseload of Probate and Estate Administration matters
Handling all aspects of Inheritance Tax planning and administration
Providing excellent client care and building strong client relationships
Working independently and as part of a supportive team

Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 2 years experience in UK Probate and Estate Administration
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in the relevant field
Strong client care and communication skills
High attention to detail with competent numeracy skills
Ability to manage time prioritise effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
Proficient IT skills

Location: Maldon Essex

Salary
Negotiable depending on experience

Contract
Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
Flexitime available
On-site parking provided

Hybrid considered but not fully remote.
