At NKT were looking for a R&D Project Manager to join our diverse and innovative R&D this role youll coordinate both local and cross-functional projects aimed at developing next-generation high voltage cable systems.

Lead the Way in Groundbreaking Development Projects
Our R&D team is actively engaged in transforming how energy is generated transmitted and useddeveloping sustainable technologies that improve energy efficiency. As R&D Project Manager youll manage key projects from defining scope and planning budgets to coordinating resources and timelines. Youll collaborate closely with steering groups product management business leaders and external partners to innovate forward.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support development projects for high voltage cable systems (onshore and offshore)
- Follow internal stage gate models and report progress in monthly project reviews
- Initiate prototype production and plan testing according to national international or customer standards
- Ensure smooth handover of designs and results to relevant stakeholders
- Document and share lessons learned to continuously improve our processes
- Act as a bridge between the line and project organizations to ensure alignment and progress
What Were Looking For
Were seeking a forward-thinking and communicative R&D Project Manager with a positive mindset and a commitment to promoting innovative practices. Youre a skilled collaborator who modifies your communication style to suit various audiences and thrives in a role where you take full responsibility for project thrive in this role you should bring both technical understanding and financial awareness enabling you to manage projects from a holistic perspective. Experience with R&D processes and tools is a plus as is a background in engineeringespecially in submarine cable system design.
Your Background:
- University degree in a technical field
- Solid experience in project management or in a project-driven organization
- Skilled in using project management tools for engineering
- Fluent in spoken and written English
