Humane Colorados Veterinary Hospital at the CSU Spur campus is looking for a temporary Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our mission-driven team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in veterinary medicine with the goal of training and transitioning into a Veterinary Assistant position in early 2026.
As a CSR youll play a key role in supporting access to high-quality veterinary urgent care for underserved populations through our incremental care model. You will be the first point of contact for clients helping to coordinate care support our veterinary team and contribute to our mission of preventing and alleviating animal suffering while treating all clients with dignity.
Located just north of downtown Denver our hospital at the CSU Spur campus is part of the National Western Center redevelopment. Our facility offers public-facing exam surgery and dental suites making this a truly unique and educational environment for both clients and staff.
Purpose of Position: Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons ensuring a smooth and orderly flow of patients through the hospital. This position works directly with underserved community members and their pets to provide high quality affordable veterinary care for sick and injured pets.

Compensation: $20.00 - $20.90 per hour (starting pay commensurate with market experience and equity)
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Handle animals of various sizes weights and temperaments. Subject to animal bites or scratches. Work performed in high noise level areas. Exposure to cleaning chemicals fumes dust animal dander and feces. Physical efforts may occasionally require bending stooping standing climbing stairs and walking.
