Senior Analyst Pricing & Cost Strategy Description
Our client a mission-driven U.S.-based manufacturer serving the nonprofit sector is seeking a Senior Analyst Pricing & Cost Strategy to lead cost estimation and pricing initiatives for complex manufacturing this hands-on role youll analyze production costs supplier quotes and market data to develop accurate competitive pricing models. Youll collaborate with production procurement and engineering teams to validate cost structures align with project scope and drive data-informed decisions. This role combines analytical rigor with cross-functional collaborationbalancing financial precision and operational insight to strengthen margins and ensure cost-effective project execution. This is a high-impact to combine analytical insight with strategic impacthelping a purpose-driven organization achieve sustainable growth.
Senior Analyst Pricing & Cost Strategy Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for labor materials equipment and overhead
Research market rates vendor quotes and historical data to support accurate pricing
Prepare pricing proposals and bid packages for customer review
Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure BOM accuracy and cost transparency
Collaborate with procurement to analyze supplier quotes and manage vendor relationships
Monitor cost drivers pricing trends and market conditions to support competitive bids
Generate pricing reports dashboards and visualizations to inform leadership decisions
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in estimating accuracy and cost management processes
Senior Analyst Pricing & Cost Strategy Qualifications
5 years in pricing and cost analysis experience within a manufacturing environment required
Proven track record in margin management and cost modeling required
Advanced MS Excel proficiency required VLOOKUPS Macros Pivot Tables etc.
Must be willing to travel up to 20% to Wichita KS
