role summary

The IT Integration Developer will be involved in supporting and developing Integrations and Interfaces between Ornua and its wide and disparate partner network (especially customers members suppliers banks warehouses freight/haulage providers and regulatory bodies) between internal Ornua business units and between our best of breed applications. They will support users and partners onboarding new partners

The IT Integration Developer will report to the Integration Lead within the Digital & Applications Team and in addition to Integration Development they will support other functions within the Digital and Applications Team especially ERP and Enterprise Applications. They will also support the maintenance and deployment of the Ornua Digital and Technology Strategy.

This is an ideal role for a technical and data orientated individual who enjoys business engagement and support and being part of a team which designs and develops innovative solutions to solve business challenges.

The IT Integration Developer within Integration will have opportunities to learn new best of breed cloud-based and on-premise manufacturing commercial and quality applications and tools and also to help shape our future technical landscape.

key areas of responsibility

• Supporting the development delivery of Integration projects through their entire project lifecycle. This includes gathering of business requirements solution and technical design testing and implementation.
• Maintenance of existing Integration landscape troubleshooting errors liaising with business users improving user visibility documenting solutions
• Onboarding partners - implementing partner specifications and testing tools engagement with partners during and after this process and developing relationships with key partners and colleagues across our network
• Work with technology partners to ensure applications are compliant supported and up to date fit for purpose and optimised

key requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or a similar field.
• Minimum 1 years IT experience ideally with development experience in integration or middleware tools (e.g. especially IBM/Sterling B2Bi or Azure Logic Apps) or other development roles

• High level of integrity passion self-motivation and analytical skills. Flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
• Strong team player and organisational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English

optional requirements

• Knowledge of XML and related technologies (XSLT XPath XSD DDF etc)
• Experience of Programming Languages especially Java and JavaScript
• Experience of development environments and frameworks like Eclipse and ExtJs
• Knowledge of Source Code Management (Git) & DevOps
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with other applications in our Global portfolio would be an advantage:
  • ERP application (e.g. Infor M3 or similar)
  • BI application (e.g. Power BI)
  • Technical competence in enterprise report development data analytics tools BI ETL SQL or equivalent relationship database query language

• OWNERSHIP: Motivated and dynamic ability to work to deadlines and deliver quality work.

• COMMUNICATIVE: Good communication skills considering impact on the audience and desired outcomes. Ability to work with users and partners to assess requirements and support BAU processes
