Job Description
Generic responsibilities
- Ensure adherence with NRC policies tools handbooks and guidelines.
- Implement the delegated support function portfolio according to the plan of action.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function.
- Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.
- Contribute to the implementation of Safe and Inclusive Programming Minimum Standards across your area of work
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities
- Participate in preparing the Master Budget of the Gaza Area office
- Participate in preparing new Donor Budgets Budget revisions Budget vs Actual and financial reports using NRC tools.
- Ensure regular update of the Master budget that will serve as a guide for all new donor proposals.
- Participate in preparing monthly shared allocations.
- Day-to-day follow-up of progress regarding projects implementation.
- Participate in reviewing PRs and advise on charge codes.
- Ensure compliance of actual expenditures with budgets.
- Ensure compliance with Donors regulations
- Participate in ensuring proper filing of all financial documents.
- Conducting regular training sessions on budget management to program support and finance staff.

Qualifications
- Competencies
1. Professional competencies
Generic professional competencies:
- Minimum 4 years of experienceworking in a financial position in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Documented results related to the positions responsibilities.
- Fluency in Arabic and English both written and verbal
- Solid knowledge of computer software and modern accounting systems
- Experience with multiple humanitarian donors and specifically their budgeting and reporting requirements
Context/ Specific skills knowledge and experience:
- Qualification requirement: BA in Accounting or related field.
- Years of Experience: 4.
