Profile Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Principal Lead Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Proven ability to lead process engineering teams drive technical excellence and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee process engineering activities across all project phasesfrom concept to commissioning.
- Manage and mentor a team of process engineers ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Interface with clients project managers and other discipline leads to align engineering scope and execution strategy.
- Approve and validate process design documents simulations and calculations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS UniSim or similar.
- Manage process safety through active participation in HAZOP LOPA SIL and other risk assessments.
- Implement and enforce change control procedures ensuring budget and schedule impacts are clearly communicated and managed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the process discipline promoting innovation and operational efficiency.
- Support business development and proposal efforts by contributing technical expertise and estimating discipline scope.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred).
- 10 years of experience in process engineering with at least 5 years in a lead role within EPC/EPCM environments.
- Strong working knowledge of cross-discipline interfaces (Mechanical Piping EC&I Civil Automation).
- Expertise in process simulation design and safety engineering.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with a clear vision for transitioning into engineering management.
