LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

TEAM: Cosmic Int Team -- Vehicle invoicing

Qualifications/Experience

Relevant IT / Business Degree (Required)
SAP ABAP Certification (Required)
5 years experience in SAP development (Required)
South African citizens/residents preferred; valid work permit holders considered
Willing and able to travel internationally

Essential Skills Requirements Must have experience/understanding:

SAP S/4HANA platform development and configuration
SAP ABAP knowledge in FI/CO (Finance/Controlling) modules
SAP ABAP knowledge in SD (Sales and Distribution)
SAP ABAP knowledge in MM (Materials Management)
Interfaces via SAP Partner System IDOCs as well as Web Services
SAP Workflow in FI MM and SD modules
Purchasing process integration and development
SAP ABAP knowledge in Vehicle Management System
Project Systems (PS) module experience
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Advantageous Skills Requirements

Understanding of integration between systems using different technologies
Requirements analyses organisation and management
Translating and simplifying technical requirements
Provide input to document requirements in appropriate format
Assist with identification and management of risk
Knowledge of Unix and Connect-M Managed File Transfer
Strong presentation skills and stakeholder communication
Above-board work ethics and professional standards
Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
Ability and willingness to coach and give training to colleagues and users
Open and pro-active communication across teams
Ability to understand complex work environments
Flexibility to work after hours if needed
German speaking capability
Experience in a DevOps environment
Confluence and Jira project management tools

Role Requirements

Platform Development: Development and maintenance on COSMIC platform/application serving 100 Group entities in vehicle invoicing
Solution Design: Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements for financial and accounting processes
Documentation: Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards) and user/operation manuals
Training & Coaching: Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
System Planning: Assist user departments in designing system requirement/proposal documentation based on business processes
Design Support: Review business requirements and propose system design evaluate alternatives for optimal solutions
Template Development: Design systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements (Template solution)
Quality Assurance: Support system audits creation of test cases system testing/parallel runs and quality assurance processes
Implementation: System implementation (transition into line) user training (Key users) and user sign-off processes
Project Delivery: Time estimating ensure project timings are achieved and maintain user satisfaction/acceptance
Strategic Alignment: Ensure systems compatibility with agreed Group strategies and standards
Operations Support: Ensure that all job streams for a system operate correctly and provide ongoing maintenance
User Engagement: Ensure user appreciation of the principles of system designing and template factory processes
