Main job responsibilities:
Driving revenue growth and building strong customer relationships within the maritime shipping industry.
Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities with prospective clients in the shipping logistics and transportation industries.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to leadership
Support customers in completing their shipping declarations and assist with finalizing all necessary shipping documents.
Mentor and train junior sales team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
Handle correspondence with the shipping line to secure the most competitive rates and free time offers for customers enhancing customer satisfaction.
Competencies / Skills:
Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
Displays sound business judgment and personal drive for results.
Positive attitude excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Agile problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic rapidly changing environment
Ability to work under pressure
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business administration supply chain or any related field.
6 Years preferred in Forwarding Logistic or Shipping Agencies.
Proficiency in both written and oral English and Arabic.
Proficient in computer skills especially concerning CRM software and tools.
