Essential Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for long haul fiber builds including route planning permitting construction and commissioning
Collaborate with engineering construction legal and vendor teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Manage budgets schedules risk assessments and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects
Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations including environmental and right-of-way requirements
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation reporting progress to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
Coordinate with carriers municipalities and third-party providers for interconnects and joint builds
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and vendor performance
Qualifications:
Five or more years of project management experience in telecom infrastructure
Proven track record of delivering large-scale fiber projects on time and within budget
Deep understanding of fiber optic technologies route engineering permitting and construction practices
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project Primavera or similar
Working Conditions:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot cold rain snow and sleet) and perform work on uneven surfaces
This position will require travel as needed - per diem and accommodations will be provided
