Job Summary/Description:
Come work in one of Americas fastest-growing cities and most exciting sports markets. Arizonas Family is looking for an MMJ in its dynamic sports department. Join a team that covers the NFL NBA MLB NHL NCAA PGA Nascar WNBA and some of the most coveted high school athletes in the country all within the viewing area. Come be part of a team that produces a nightly sports show a podcast and content across multiple platforms. An ideal candidate can shoot edit produce anchor turn social media content and be a good teammate. Candidate must also have a solid knowledge of all sports and be willing to work a flexible schedule.
A MultiMedia Journalist is required to generate vet and pitch multiple news stories in daily editorial meetings. Once the story assignment is determined the MMJ will develop shoot write report and edit video news stories from concept to finish. The MMJ will also be required to post web stories and recap story progress to the newsroom. Maintains contacts within the business community to report promptly on new and continuing events.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism Communications or related field or equivalent training and/or experience.
- 2-3 years of experience reporting at a commercial television station.
Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess an advanced understanding of legal and ethical issues impacting journalism.
- Advanced knowledge of the locale governing bodies demographics and public figures.
- Ability to perform quality work in high-pressure deadline situations.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid Drivers License.
