Job Description
We are currently seeking a talentedRail Logistics andBillings Associatefor our Arrowhead Environmental Partners subsidiary. Although some small level of remote work may be allowed you would be headquartered in Arrowheads Iselin NJ (MetroPark) office.
Pay:$27$30/hr. (depending on experience)

Our Arrowhead subsidiary is a rail-served landfill in Uniontown Alabama. Over 98% of the waste this landfill receives is shipped from the Northeast from various rail transload yards. Volumes are expected to increase by 50% in the next twelve months. Because of this rail transportation model there are many rail-related logistics and billing items that need to be dealt with daily.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Daily reconciliation of all rail containers and railcars shipped by origin/destination
- Reviewing and approving daily and weekly rail freight bills as received
- Assisting in daily and weekly customer billingsplus other accounting functions.
- Direct communications with major railroads to route and handle railroad inquiries on the Companys railcars and equipment.
- Special projects as assigned
Ideal Candidates will have:
- 2 years previous billing and/or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to accomplish tasks analyze data and propose solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks stay organized set priorities plan ahead and meet deadlines.
- Prior rail-related experience (logistics and/or billings and/or operations) is a plus but not required.
