OVERVIEW - Reporting to the Director of Sales the Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all internal aspects of the Consumer Products Group (CPG) and Janitorial Supply (Jan / San) business. this coordination will take place with the field Regional Sales Managers and will transcend departmental boundaries including Operations Procurement Product Management Marketing and Customer Service.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Resolve sales related issures within and outside department and escalate if required.
- Coordinate department activities and projects to meet customer requirements and timelines.
- Ensure that sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads & prospects.
- Report to senior management on sales metrics opportunities and threats.
- Suggest improvements that cna be made to increase revenue opportunities.
- Attend industry conferences to network and develop industry expertise.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience reporting to senior management team.
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
- Highly proficient computer skills including email MS word Excell PowerPoint.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or college diploma in business or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of lamps (light bulbs) is considered to be a benefit.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- The position will require 50% travel initially and the decrease to 10% to 15% once familiarity with account base has been established.
