The Surgery Senior Systems Engineer will work with a cross-functional program team to deliver surgical imaging products (C-arm X-ray products etc.) for the global market. This role will be responsible for system level product definition and design.
Roles & Responsibility:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual Quality Management System Quality Management Policy Quality Goals and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
5. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps providing solutions when possible
Qualification/ Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree or above major in Biomedical Engineering Computer Science Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
2. Bachelor 6 years Master 4 years working experience in R&D.
3. Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design and good technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical Image Processing Software etc.)
4. Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems
5. Excellent teamwork coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Desired Characteristics:
1. Product design experience in medical devices especially in Mobile C-arm X-ray CT DSA product
2. Effective oral and written English communication skills global project experience will be plus
3. Self-starter energizing results oriented and able to multi-task
4. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
